About this Event

🎭 What's in your container?

Diaspora Vibe Cultural Arts Incubator (DVCAI) presents an intimate Performance Salon featuring Telegraph Valley, an immersive installation and performance by L.A. Samuelson in collaboration with dramaturg Elle Hong and sound artist Adam Stone.

Part of The Container Project—a trans-coastal, transcontinental, Caribbean diasporic initiative curated by Rosie Gordon-Wallace (DVCAI, Miami) and Breeana Thorne (Independent Curator, Los Angeles)—this work explores identity, dwelling, and the body through performance and community dialogue.

About Telegraph Valley:

Telegraph Valley assembles house frames, ladders, floating decks, and one dancer to deconstruct the body as a "house for the soul." This spatial experience makes momentary homes out of holes and passageways, inviting us to reconsider what we carry, what we build, and what we become.

What to Expect:

  1. 5:30 pm: Doors open, light refreshments
  2. 6:00 pm: Performance begins
  3. 6:30 pm: Post-performance conversation
  4. 7:00 pm: Event concludes

Part of Miami Art Week 2025
